Today, journey north through Michigan to picturesque Mackinaw City before boarding the ferry to enchanting Mackinac Island. Today, a horse-drawn carriage will pick us up at the hotel for a narrated tour of Mackinac Island before we enjoy lunch at the world-famous Grand Hotel, featured in the film Somewhere in Time. After lunch, you'll have free time to explore the hotel, relax on the iconic Grand Porch, or discover the Secret Garden. Please note that the Grand Hotel maintains a daytime resort dress code (casual resort attire; no cut-off shorts, sweatpants, sleeveless shirts for men, or midriff-baring tops). The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy the island at your leisure. Visit Fort Mackinac or the Butterfly House, sample the famous fudge shops, rent a bicycle, or simply relax and take in the peaceful atmosphere as horse-drawn carriages clip-clop through the charming streets.

After a relaxing morning, we'll bid farewell to beautiful Mackinac Island and board the ferry back to the mainland. As we make our way toward Dearborn, we'll stop in the charming Bavarian town of Frankenmuth for a delicious family-style chicken lunch at the famous Zehnder's Restaurant, a Michigan tradition since 1856. Take a little time to browse the quaint shops before continuing to Dearborn.
